Buying your first home (or land to build your first home on) is an exciting step, but it can also be a bit overwhelming. This step-by-step tutorial is designed to help you through the ‘ins and outs’ of using your mysuper account to help purchase your first home.
If you’ve chosen to make locked contributions to mysuper you may be able to withdraw your ‘locked in’ retirement savings to put towards buying your first home. Download a copy of our guide to buying your first home to find out all you need to know.
If you are eligible, use this form to request a formal pre-approval quote from mysuper showing how much you have in your mysuper account to withdraw.
To help your lawyer successfully complete a first homebuyer application on your behalf, there is information and documentation you must provide to them in advance. This guide also outlines what needs to be provided for various purchasing scenarios (auction, offer and negotiation, or tender).
All members applying for a first or ‘second-chance’ homebuyer withdrawal must complete a statutory declaration. To help your lawyer, we suggest you download a copy and complete it with them at the time of withdrawal.
