Account plans
Three mysuper account plans are offered to provide you with choice and flexibility. Each plan offers specific benefits associated with unlocked and locked contribution options. These options enable you to decide whether you’ll access your money before 65, gain additional benefits from locking away, or both. The choice is yours.
Unlocked
For the most flexibility
Put all contributions into an ‘Unlocked’ account that you can access when you have left ACC.
- Minimum 2% contribution required by you, or you can choose to suspend your contribution by selecting 0%
- Up to 9% ACC employer contribution is applied in addition to your contribution (rules apply)
- Withdraw from your unlocked investment when you leave ACC (rules apply)
- Ability to change to a locked plan at anytime
- Optional Life and Income Protection insurance can be added on (rules apply)
- Not eligible for government contributions
- Not eligible for a first homebuyer withdrawal
Part Locked
For the best of both worlds
Put the first 3.5% of all contributions into a 'Locked' account you can access when you’re 65 and have left ACC, with the rest (if any) unlocked.
- Minimum 3.5% contribution required by you
- Up to 9% ACC employer contribution is applied in addition to your contribution (rules apply)
- The first 3.5% of salary contributions made by you and ACC are locked until you're 65
- Additional contributions above 3.5% are unlocked
- Withdraw from your unlocked investment when you leave ACC (rules apply)
- Optional Life and Income Protection insurance can be added on (rules apply)
- May be eligible for government contributions
- May be eligible for a first homebuyer withdrawal
