First or 'second-chance' homebuyer withdrawals

If you have a locked mysuper account, plus you've made locked contributions to mysuper (or been a member of a KiwiSaver scheme) since before 02/04/2016, you may be able to withdraw your 'locked in' retirement savings to put towards buying your first home.

If you don't have a locked mysuper account you are not able to make a first homebuyer withdrawal from mysuper.

Applications can only be completed by an enrolled barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. This application must be submitted at least 10 working days before the ‘finance date’ or ‘settlement date’.
